In Friday's non-league test, the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) basketball squad got by the visiting North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX), by a score of 50-48.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (Pasadena, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. Cypress Ranch will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Mavericks come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to Clear Creek (League City, TX).
