Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Easton Area nips Northeast

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Easton Area Rovers basketball team scored a close 53-49 win over the Northeast Vikings.

The Rovers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Stateliners come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Phillipsburg edged Abington (Abington, PA), 61-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Northeast will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Galloping Ghosts come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 83-52 non-league loss to Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA).
