The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI) and the host Ford Trojans (Detroit, MI), observed Hamady's basketball team overwhelm Ford by a score of 63-18.

The Hawks (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bendle (Burton, MI). The Tigers come into the Genesee Area - Red challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Bendle trounced Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI), 64-60, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Ford will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 55-45 league win over Kettering (Waterford, MI).
