The South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) basketball were winner over the host Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), 74-64 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Red Raiders now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Metrolina Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. South Point will play a Warriors team coming off a 50-36 non-league win over East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Highland Tech falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC) to play the Gryphons in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont bout on Friday, January 3. The Gryphons go into the bout with a record of 7-1.
