In Friday's non-league test, the Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) basketball team toppled the host Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC), by a tally of 60-51.

The Wildcats now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rocky Mount for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Millbrook will play a Gryphons team coming off a 63-20 non-league win over South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Cleveland falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC) to play the Pirates in a 4A Greater Neuse River game on Friday, January 3. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 7-4. Corinth Holders lost 50-38 in their recent non-league game against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC)
