In Friday's non-league test, the El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA) basketball squad knocked off the host Western Warriors (Las Vegas, NV), by a score of 63-46.

Next, the Miners encounter the Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. El Diamante will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 10-2 record after their 58-38 non-league win over Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA).
