South Carolina High School Basketball - Elbert County knocks off Woodmont
December 27, 2024: Piedmont, SC 29673 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Elbert County Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 49-31 win over the Woodmont Wildcats.
The Blue Devils (13-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Hart County defeated Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA), 48-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Pendleton Bulldogs (Pendleton, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Woodmont will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 51-40 non-league win over East Jackson (Commerce, GA).
