The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) and the visiting St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV), observed Summers County's basketball team overcome St. Joseph Central by a score of 67-55.

The Bobcats (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Wayne defeated Rowan County (Morehead, KY), 45-40, in a non-league challenge.
