In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats basketball team scored a big 50-16 triumph over the Wardlaw Academy Patriots.

The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA). The Patriots go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 contest with a 5-5 record.

In their next game, the Patriots confront the Great Falls Red Devils (Great Falls, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Wardlaw Academy will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Red Devils go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 60-34 non-league loss to Westminster Schools of Augusta (Augusta, GA).
