The Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD), 68-60 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Southern (Harwood, MD). The Bulldogs go into the Anne Arundel County test with a 3-1 record.

The Golden Bears now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. Hammond will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 60-57 non-league win over Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
