The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Hanahan Hawks to 46 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wildwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Veritas Collegiate Academy will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 67-61 non-league win over Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.

The Hawks (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC). The come into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Caldwell Academy was nudged by Wildwood (Wildwood, FL), 67-61, in a non-league contest.
