The Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) basketball nipped the host Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC), 59-54 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Titans (8-4) will now prepare for their test against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, New Hanover got by Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC), 39-38, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Cox Mill for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Hoggard will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 54-49 non-league win over Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 7-6.
