In Wednesday's non-league outing, the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) basketball squad edged the host Indianapolis Metropolitan Pumas (Indianapolis, IN), by a count of 61-60.

The Dragons (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against 21st Century Charter (Gary, IN). The COUGARS go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, 21st Century Charter held off Mooresville (Mooresville, IN), 64-56, in a non-league outing.

The Pumas now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17.
