New Jersey High School Basketball - Mount St. Mary Academy tops East Brunswick
December 28, 2022: Watchung, NJ 07069 Mount St. Mary Academy Lions (Watchung, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ), 45-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mount St. Mary Academy upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ) to play the Blue Streaks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Warren Hills Regional lost 45-44 in their recent non-league bout against Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ)
Next up, the Bears play the Piscataway Vo-Tech Raiders (Piscataway, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. East Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 50-36 league win over Middlesex County Vo-Tech (Woodbridge, NJ).
