Wisconsin High School Basketball - Pecatonica overwhelmed by Poynette
December 28, 2022: Poynette, WI 53955 The Poynette Pumas basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Pecatonica Vikings to 30 in the Pumas non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pumas now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baraboo for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Poynette will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 74-46 non-league loss to New Glarus (New Glarus, WI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 5-5.
The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Evansville (Evansville, WI). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record.
