Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), 87-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hendersonville upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Crest (Shelby, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Crest won 84-72 in their recent non-league bout against Chesnee (Chesnee, SC)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Burns will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 84-72 non-league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC).
