December 28, 2023: El Paso, TX 79902 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cathedral Fighting Irish (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX), saw Cathedral's basketball squad wallop Denver City by a tally of 47-26.
With the victory, Cathedral improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Midland Classical Academy (Midland, TX) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Midland Classical Academy lost 55-47 in their recent league challenge against Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Crane Cranes (Crane, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Denver City will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Cranes come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 62-38 league loss to Alpine (Alpine, TX).
