Kentucky High School Basketball - Kell trounces Harlan County
December 28, 2023: Harlan, KY 40831 The Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) basketball crushed the host Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY), 93-68 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Longhorns (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Mentor (Mentor, OH). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Mentor walloped George Wythe (Wytheville, VA), 96-95, in a non-league test.
The Black Bears now own a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Shore for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Harlan County will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 39-36 non-league win over Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-4.
