The South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) basketball crushed the host Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), 81-24 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Sabres (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Statesville walloped North Iredell (Olin, NC), 66-63, in a non-league test.
