Virginia High School Basketball - Indian River ripped by Fleming
December 28, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23325 The Fleming Colonels basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Indian River Braves to 26 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Colonels now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Run for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Fleming will battle a Stallions team coming off a 60-59 non-league win over Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 6-3.
The Braves (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Manor was routed by Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA), 60-59, in a non-league contest.
