Texas High School Basketball - Rudder ripped by Hays
December 28, 2023: Bryan, TX 77808 The Hays Hawks basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Rudder Rangers to 36 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seven Lakes for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Hays will meet a Spartans team coming off a 83-22 non-league win over Lufkin (Lufkin, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 14-8.
The Rangers (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, A&M Consolidated triumphed over Lake Belton (Temple, TX), 51-43, in a non-league contest.
