Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) and the visiting Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN), saw Norwell's basketball squad hold off Valparaiso by a count of 62-55.

With the victory, Norwell upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Carroll lost 64-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN)

Next up, the Vikings play the Lawrence North Wildcats (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Valparaiso will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
