The Gaston Christian Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks to 58 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Heritage Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Gaston Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 66-59 league loss to Mountain View Christian Academy (Cowpens, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-4.
