The Laurens Raiders basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers to 40 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Raiders now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mauldin for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Laurens will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 59-52 non-league loss to Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Blue Ridge falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Fighting tigers travel to Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC) to confront the Devildogs in a AAAA Region 2 game on Friday, January 3.
