The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX), observed Bowie's basketball team edge Del Valle by a score of 64-60.

The Bears (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Anthony (Anthony, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 9-10 record.

In their next game, the Conquistadores battle the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Del Valle will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record.
