Texas High School Basketball - Denison fells Lebanon Trail
December 28, 2024: Denison, TX 75020 The Denison Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers to 42 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets now have a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a 5A Region II District 9 game on Friday, January 3. Denison will confront a Lions team coming off a 48-42 non-league loss to Athens (Athens, TX). The Lions record now stands at 13-8.
With the loss, Lebanon Trail falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Trail blazers host Centennial (Frisco, TX) to confront the Titans in a 5A Region II District 11 game on Friday, January 3. The Titans go into the game with a record of 12-7. Centennial lost 59-38 in their recent non-league game against Little Elm (Little Elm, TX)
