With the victory, Wayne advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Warriors host Springfield (Springfield, OH) to meet the Wildcats in a Greater Western Ohio match on Friday, January 3. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-3. Springfield won 74-49 in their recent non-league match against Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH)
The Shamrocks now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westerville South for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 31. Dublin Coffman will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-57 non-league loss to Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
