The Lake Minneola Hawks basketball squad (Minneola, FL), was nudged 63-56 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Stranahan Mighty Dragons (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

With the victory, Stranahan advances its record to 12-5 on the year. The Mighty Dragons host Lakeland (Lakeland, FL) to meet the Dreadnaughts in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Dreadnaughts enter the battle with a record of 3-2. Lakeland lost 53-50 in their recent non-league battle against Seminole (Sanford, FL)
