Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC), 59-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Piedmont advances its record to 5-7 on the year. The Panthers travel to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC) to face the Copperheads in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Copperheads enter the match with a record of 4-8. Catawba Ridge lost 55-31 in their recent non-league match against Independence (Charlotte, NC)

The Lancers now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cannon for a non-league match on Monday, December 30. Legion Collegiate Academy will face a Cougars squad coming off a 94-82 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.
