Ohio High School Basketball - Perrysburg holds off Liberty-Benton
December 28, 2024: Findlay, OH 45840 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Perrysburg Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a close 69-62 triumph over the Liberty-Benton Eagles.
The Yellow Jackets (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ross (Fremont, OH). The Little Giants go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Ross nipped Columbian (Tiffin, OH), 60-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH) in a Blanchard Valley contest, on Friday, January 3. Liberty-Benton will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Black Knights go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 73-34 non-league win over Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH).
