In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Lincoln County Panthers basketball team scored a big 72-43 win over the Summers County Bobcats.

The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Clendenin, WV). The Huskies come into the Cardinal contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Hoover smashed North Marion (Farmington, WV), 53-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Summit Christian Academy Falcons (Princeton, WV) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 2. Summers County will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 9-1 record after their 85-37 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV).
