Texas High School Basketball - New Caney overwhelms Terry
December 28, 2024: Rosenberg, TX 77471 The New Caney Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Terry Rangers to 29 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Rockdale for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. New Caney will play a Tigers team coming off a 67-46 non-league loss to Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-15.
With the loss, Terry falls to 0-21 on the campaign. The Rangers host Victoria West (Victoria, TX) to play the Warriors in a 5A Region III District 22 game on Friday, January 3. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 7-8. Victoria West won 68-50 in their recent non-league game against Taft (Taft, TX)
