Michigan High School Basketball - South Lake holds off South
December 28, 2024: St. Clair Shores, MI 48080 The South Lake Cavaliers basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting South Bulldogs to 38 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cavaliers now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mott for a Macomb Area - Silver game on Tuesday, January 7. South Lake will confront a Marauders team coming off a 72-21 non-league loss to Cousino (Warren, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, South falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Africentric Early College (Columbus, OH) to confront the Nubians in a Columbus City - South game on Tuesday, January 7. The Nubians go into the game with a record of 7-1.
