December 28, 2024: St. Charles, IL 60174 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) and the visiting St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL), observed St. Charles East's basketball team knock off St. Rita by a score of 52-36.
The Fighting Saints (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Marmion (Aurora, IL). The Cadets come into the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Marmion prevailed over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 64-56, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. St. Rita will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The RedHawks come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 48-38 non-league win over Dyett (Chicago, IL).
