California High School Basketball - Monterey Trail succumbs to Central

In Saturday's non-league test, the Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) basketball squad defeated the host Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA), by a score of 56-48.

Next, the Grizzlies clash with the Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 30. Central will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 9-4 record after their 62-41 non-league win over Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV).

The Mustangs (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Lakers come into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Pyramid Lake went down by Whitney (Rocklin, CA), 62-41, in a non-league test.
