Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV), 56-45 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Corner Canyon advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Lions enter the match with a record of 7-8. JSerra Catholic won 56-47 in their recent non-league match against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA)

The Cougars now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galena for a 4A Northern match on Friday, January 3. Spanish Springs will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 67-45 non-league win over Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-5.
