Texas High School Basketball - Seven Lakes overwhelmed by Cypress Springs

In Saturday's non-league test, the Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), by a score of 96-37.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Waller Bulldogs (Waller, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Cypress Springs will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 13-10 record after their 53-50 non-league win over Spring Woods (Houston, TX).

The Spartans (5-20) will now prepare for their test against Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Rams come into the 6A Region III District 19 test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Mayde Creek bounced Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX), 54-13, in a non-league test.
