California High School Basketball - El Capitan triumphant over West

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) and the host West Wolfpack (Tracy, CA), observed El Capitan's basketball team overwhelm West by a score of 86-20.

The Gauchos (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kimball (Tracy, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Kimball was routed by East Union (Manteca, CA), 57-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolfpack encounter the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. West will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
