The Liberty Patriots basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting St. Joseph Academy Crusaders to 39 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now have a 7-6 record. They play next when they host South Pasadena for a non-league game on Monday, December 30.

With the loss, St. Joseph Academy falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to confront the Nighthawks in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Nighthawks go into the game with a record of 3-10.
