December 28, 2024: Plymouth, MN 55447 West Lutheran Warriors (Plymouth, MN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN), 57-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Lutheran advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 1-6. Bethlehem Academy lost 56-46 in their recent non-league match against Triton (Dodge Center, MN)
The Rockets now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watertown-Mayer for a AA Section 5 match on Thursday, January 2. Rockford will meet a Royals squad coming off a 58-30 non-league win over Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN). The Royals record now stands at 4-5.
