December 29, 2022: Aliquippa, PA 15001 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting West Philadelphia Speedboys (Philadelphia, PA), by a count of 45-40.
The Quips (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Colts go into the non-league outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Chartiers Valley held off Central Valley (Monaca, PA), 67-31, in a non-league outing.
The Speedboys now hold a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Laurel Highlands for a non-league outing on Friday, December 30. West Philadelphia will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 70-66 non-league loss to Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-1.
