The Crandall Pirates basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Skyline Raiders to 41 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terrell for a 5A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Crandall will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Dallas, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-13.

The Raiders (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX). The Broncos come into the 6A Region II District 11 contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Mansfield Legacy dropped by Plano (Plano, TX), 72-59, in a non-league contest.
