Texas High School Basketball - Wakeland fells Little Elm

Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Little Elm Lobos (Little Elm, TX), 70-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wakeland upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Turner (Carrollton, TX) to clash with the Lions in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Turner lost 95-42 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX)

Next up, the Lobos clash with the Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Little Elm will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Leopards go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 61-42 non-league win over Leander (Leander, TX).
