Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Timber Creek Wolves (Orlando, FL), 57-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Strongsville upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Brunswick (Brunswick, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a Greater Cleveland bout on Friday, January 6. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Brunswick lost 72-67 in their recent league bout against Mentor (Mentor, OH)

Next up, the Wolves play the Astronaut War Eagles (Titusville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Timber Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The War Eagles come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 58-47 non-league win over Okeechobee (Okeechobee, FL).
