Utah High School Basketball - Mountain Crest nudges Clearfield

December 29, 2022: Hyrum, UT 84319

Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Clearfield Falcons (Clearfield, UT), 43-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain Crest upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Syracuse (Syracuse, UT) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Syracuse lost 49-46 in their recent non-league bout against Northridge (Layton, UT)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Weber Warriors (Pleasant View, UT) in a 6A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Clearfield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 51-35 non-league loss to West Jordan (West Jordan, UT).
