Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME), 58-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Thornton Academy upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Trojans host Windham (Windham, ME) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Windham lost 33-27 in their recent league bout against Bangor (Bangor, ME)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Noble Knights (Berwick, ME) in a AA South bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Gorham will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
