California High School Basketball - Salinas holds off Rancho San Juan
December 29, 2022: Salinas, CA Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA) and the host Rancho San Juan Trailblazers (Salinas, CA), saw Salinas's basketball squad hold off Rancho San Juan by a tally of 43-37.
With the victory, Salinas improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Hollister (Hollister, CA) to confront the Haybalers in a PCAL - Gabilan challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Haybalers come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Hollister lost 53-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Leland (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Trailblazers confront the Pajaro Valley Grizzlies (Watsonville, CA) in a PCAL - Santa Lucia challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Rancho San Juan will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
