Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV), 35-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Galena upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to clash with the Greenwave in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Greenwave go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Churchill County lost 44-33 in their recent non-league bout against North Valleys (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. North Valleys will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 37-27 league loss to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV).
