The Cushing Bearkats basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Gary Bobcats to 42 in the Bearkats non-league victory on Friday.

The Bearkats now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlisle for a 2A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Cushing will battle a Indians team coming off a 59-55 league win over Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX). The Indians record now stands at 5-2.

The Bobcats (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Garrison (Garrison, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region III District 23 contest with a 1-4 record.
