The West Cabarrus Wolverines tipped the host East Mecklenburg Eagles basketball team by a final score of 60-53 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wolverines face the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans (Tampa, FL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 30. West Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 63-53 non-league win over Independence (Charlotte, NC).
